Providing high performing tools for Firestone
Holcim acquired Firestone Building Products in April 2021 and needed to migrate the company from Office365 into their existing Google infrastructure. As a historical partner for Holcim, Revevol migrated 1900 Firestone users to Google in August 2022.

Behind the Scenes of Solvay’s Digital Journey
The challenge
Firestone’s infrastructure was a major concern during the deployment as the remote sites didn’t have the necessary bandwidth to support a full cloud solution. An intensive upgrade programme was carried out before migration could take place. Remote sites also meant that remote training had to be done to provide maximum coverage.
The solution
Revevol provided flexible timelines and scope to absorb the impact of the infrastructure upgrades. Both teams worked well to align on common time zones between the US and France and coordinated effectively to resolve the project's risks in an efficient and timely manner. Revevol’s extensive trainer network yielded excellent results (9.4/10) for onsite and remote training.
The result
1 900 users went live with their communication tools in August 2022 with very few incidents reported. The remaining collaboration tools were migrated in September 2022 with a focus on SharePoints sites which were migrated to Google Drive or AODocs depending on the level of complexity. Firestone is now fully integrated into the Holcim ecosystem and they are collaborating together seamlessly.
